Barbara and Edward Fidellow started a Christian Montessori school in Dallas Texas in 1972 for

their own children and ran it for 29 years. The program ran from 18 months through High School.

In 1983 they started the Christian Montessori Fellowship to network Christian Montessori

teachers and Christian Montessori schools.

In 2001 they began working full time with the Christian Montessori Fellowship to encourage and

network Christian Montessori teachers all over the world by doing seminars and conferences,

writing books and newsletters and creating a video training program. There is a Christian

Montessori presence in 45 states and 18 foreign countries.

Christian Montessori Academy is being founded as the showcase and flagship school

for the best training in Christian Montessori education.
